Just tried it with a new "clean" file and
it worked fine.
Even though I "reset orientation"
(I was in a rotated, saved floor plan view)
in the original file.... it was the angle of the rotation... I think.![Confused]()
EDIT:
Figured it out.
The imported object's orientation aligns to project NORTH.
