Why can't "Exterior Siding Door 19" object work for you?

Do you need some additional functionality?

Need the frame and transom. As well as the rail. I can model an opening and use wall for the door etc. but then scheduling etc. is compromised.

Window Marker and Door Marker

I've been hoping for this for a long time and just now decided to search for a fix.
It would be a lot easier to do this as a separate Favorite, but short of that, it worked almost exactly as I was hoping. The only problem is I lost the ability to place the marker dynamically. The little pink handle on the marker is now black instead of pink, and I can't move it. I can change the position parameters, but it's much better to be able to drag it on the drawing.
I probably changed a parameter I was not supposed to change. Any idea which one?

Thanks Laszlo for the write-up.

i have found the solution...it's in the marker type and there is a settion in there to flip for marker ...different from the flip for window orientation.

I found this in the library folder but it doesn't allow me to stretch to size. Does anyone has s stretchable insulation object to share?
Thanks

I Assume you're using "DET_ Batt_Insulation 19"

Try "Fiber Insulation 19"

Hi,
I've got about 1000+ object that I've imported from one single IFC-model. All objects are converted to .gsm with the importer and they keep all the classifications and codes from the original software as long as I use the embedde library. However I'd like to extract this embedded library to a folder for use on other projects but when I do that all data in the objects disappears... Any clue how to solve this?
/Mats

Sadly not yet. I fix and work on them while i draw but have very little time to actually code. They are almost fully functional, or i guess they are, just have a couple bugs here and there. and or need some re- coding now that i have learned what ive learned.

I suppose if everyone is willing to accept that things might now work perfect, and not bug me about fixes or updates then i could put them up for sale. Very cheap, but not free....

If I understand correctly the data you want is stored in the instance of the object in the PLN and not in the object script itself.

Would a copy and paste from one file to another transfer this data?
I haven't tried but I think it would just like any other custom parameter setting.

Barry.

Yep, that's the case. I have a huge amount of object instances, classified and all with codes, names etc, and I'd like to save these as favourites in our template for this actual type of building. The objects are generic and are supposed to be static. Copy works fine but I'd like to have all the objects in our AC20 template ordered in folders.

WINDOW TRIM BACKWARDS IN PLAN

Not sure about this one. The window trim on the exterior is showing up pointing the wrong way in plan. In elevation and 3d it looks correct, but not in plan. I have deleted the windows, rebooted, reinserted, and they still keep coming up this way. On the last project they were fine. Not sure what is going on here. Any ideas. I have attached a screenshot so you can see what I am referring to.
Thanks for any tips.

Are you having the same problem in all windows?
Did you tried copy paste a window from other project where the windows are good? if so what happened? if they came good, did you use eye-drop and inject parameters on the bad window?
