Search BIMComponents (you can do this from your window settings dialogue) for "Window".
You will find one called 'FreeForWindow' (not sure if this can do curved top) and another called 'Polyfenster 1' that looks like it can.
I haven't used these so can't say what they are like but they are free.
Another alternative is to make the window from slabs in plan and save it as a window object.
It is not adjustable then but you et exactly what you want.

There are more in BIMCompoents but it seems they don't have key words associated.
So you have to search for them by name.
weight bench
weight machine
treadmill
rowing machine
stationary bicycle
gym bench (you already found)
Barry.

I am surprised that you found only one object in your library. The USA version (shown in your signature) has the objects Barry listed (plus a Stairmaster) in Object Library 20 > 11 Equipment 20 > 11 65 00 Athletic and Recreational Equipment 20 > Sport Equipment 20.

I'm trying to create a custom door panel which has it's leaf surfaces controlled by the Parent objects settings.
I.e. Select Door 20 use custom door leaf but assign include and outside leaf surface using model attributes See image 1.
I put in the following code into the master code:
"gs_cleaf_matin1 = gs_leaf_matin
gs_cleaf_mat1 = gs_leaf_mat
gs_cleaf_glass_mat1 = gs_glass_mat"
It does link to the Door 20 settings but all are to the Outside frame surface (gs_frame_mat).
Can anyone give some help as to where I may have missed/gone wrong?

updated object
11-25-16: fixed a bunch of issues with 2d display, added some grids. i have only finished up to Prairie grids on square windows. there are no grids for the shaped windows yet. probably the next update. removed a bunch of unneeded code. added constraints on the arches and legs.
I also made it so that the dummy window will now let you open it to change its default settings.

I`m facing a really annoying problem. Working on a project when most of my windows are messed up - wrong reveal side of placement. So when I add the sill options on my windows - the sill is on the wrong side. The flip option does not change the reveal side. The only solution i have found is to pick the window and to place it on the same position this time with the right reveal side. Is there any simpler workarround?

When placing the window into the wall it is important that you first click on the outside of the wall so the smart cursor shows the sun symbol on that side, then second click will determine the opening side, more for doors than windows.

And while placing the window the TAB key will swap the side of the reveal (sun icon) if you happen to get it wrong on the first click.
Barry.

FreakyStepz:
Rather than Flip, select the Window and use the Rotate command.
You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

If you want to change the reveal side of an existing door and you want to keep the door swing in exactly the same location you have two choices.
ALT click the door to get all of it's properties, delete the existing and place a new door.
You will have to re-do any associated dimensions.
Or select the existing door, flip, rotate and mirror it.
It will be exactly the same swing but with the reveal on the opposite side.
the dimensions should stay associated as well.
Barry.

There are companies which makes different objects for ArchiCAD. I'm needing a cabinet library since I don't like ArchiCAD's stock library. CADimage is one company, but they charge around $30 a month. That is just to high and doesn't make business sense for me. Plus, I don't like CADimages library. There is a programming error in the software. There is another place called DDGI, but I can't trial their software. Has anybody tried it and do they like it?
I am needing to adjust the spacing between the cabinet doors and drawers and be able to do custom panel dimensions for the types of styles of the cabinets and drawers.
I guess I'll also e-mail the company.
Here is the link to the website below.

Hi all,
Running in to a small but annoying issue with my windows in AC20.
Both windows have all the same settings for head height, 20mm reveal, anchor setup etc, the only difference is that one has a brick sill and the other does not.
For some reason, the one without the sill is lifted up 20mm (same as reveal size) and ends up with the incorrect head height when measured.
Is this normal? Is there any way to correct this without fudging the head height value?

Is there a Window Marker that reads/uses the Zone ID?
There is a Door Marker (Door Marker USA 20) that allows me to set the Marker Text as "Room & Door ID". For example, if my Zone is "102" and my Door ID is "A" then the Door Marker displays "102 A" on the floor plan.
I'm looking for a Window Marker that allows me to do the same thing with windows.

I have composite walls and custom corner windows. the skins are being cut at the outside corners at the ends of each window. I have custom closures and reveals but i have the reveal set to 0" at the corner and no skins returned at the corners either.

See the attached JPG file for a window that came up when I tried to connect to the BIM components portal through the object library. Is it possible the site has been hacked?
Anybody else have this problem. Am a bit hesitant to connect.
